Our Story

Alex Nicholson founded Fore! The Planet in 2022 with a love for golf's rich history and the planet that it's played on.

Drawing on twelve years of industry expertise, Alex guides golf clubs to sustainable solutions and a greener future. Today, we proudly support over 100+ UK golf venues, spanning from Royal Dornoch down to St. Enodoc and every mile in between.

We also create planet-friendly golf products, helping golfers purchase sustainably and make a positive impact on the environment.
OUR GAME

Innovation born out of frustration

According to Statista, the UK generates over two million metric tons of plastic waste each year. Over 50% of this gets incinerated and just 15% gets recycled.

The golf industry contributes with thousands of plastics, disposables and single-use products discarded every day. An out-dated industry that needs to adapt and change.

OUR MISSION

Redefining golf to help save the planet

Alongside Re:Water, we’re on a mission to save 1 million plastic bottles from landfill (via the golf industry) over a 5 year period from 2024-2028.

We want our FTP products to change the way golfers buy merchandise by utilising truly sustaianable materials and giving back generously to the planet.
